He is only 21, but he is so grown up. He shared my way in Laos only a couple of weeks , but made them different. He was going away for only 1 year, but he will continue his journey for much longer. He is only 21, but he has understood what life was all about...being free. I wanted to share with you the poem he gave me before I left him this morning. This poem was not especially for me but for all the people we would would meet on our way. It is very simple and true, and I thought it would make you stop for a minute, think about your life, and if not change it, maybe just slow down and appreciate all what is given to you, and especially care about the ones you love. BE FREE is that you sat behind that desk on a sunny day, is that you working 14 hours a day, is that you who never sees their child, is that you? Is that you? What are you doing, don't you want to be free ? Don't you want to be truley happy and wonder around this great globe, don't you want to sit on the beach, climb the mountains and see the world through your eyes. There are no boundries or borders to restrict you, even if your 24 or 74 enjoy, celebrate, chill out, be hight, be in trance, be happy. But most of all be free. RL, Laos 08 |
